Constructed Study 01 — 1 of 1
Edition III — Constructed
A one-of-one garment built through layering, reconstruction, and surface process.
A hand-processed Variable Standard shirt is combined with a heavyweight ribbed long-sleeve layer, creating a single constructed piece rather than a separate base and underlayer. The striped sleeves are integrated into the garment and finished as part of the final form.
The surface is developed through pigment, oxidation, and repeated hand-processing, producing an irregular field of brown, charcoal, olive, and muted violet. No two sections resolve the same way.
The result sits between garment, study, and object — built through material, structure, and repetition.
Construction Overview

The contrast between the technical outer body and denser ribbed underlayer creates weight, structure, and a visibly layered silhouette.
