The figure is worked through pigment, washing, and heat so the drawing settles into the fiber rather than sitting cleanly on the surface. Irregular edges, fading, and shifts in density are part of the process, making each piece slightly different.

Drawn as a study of protection, restraint, and quiet authority.

The figure of St. Joseph stands within a loose field of hand-worked marks, with the surrounding darkness and fragmented linework intentionally left unresolved. Rather than treating the image as a conventional graphic, the drawing is allowed to break apart, fade, and merge into the garment.

The result sits somewhere between drawing, object, and worn image—changing subtly through process and wear.

This garment is designed to live with you. With time and wear, the fabric softens and the surface evolves, developing character that deepens rather than fades. Over years of use, each piece becomes more distinctly its own.
